About the team

You are part of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) project management team, which is responsible for execution of the project and delivers our high tech and innovative Central Security System (CSS) solution to our customer. The team is multi-disciplinary and multi-site, as Thales NL partners with Thales France and Thales Germany for this exciting project.

You will report directly to the General Program Manager (GPM). The functional reporting line for this role is to the facilities team of the Thales Nederland B.V. unit in Huizen. The ERTMS project team has its own office in Utrecht at Het Nieuwe Kantoor (HNK), very close to the premises of ProRail, our customer. You are expected to join the team in Utrecht and work remotely (at Huizen site or from home).

About your future job

A work week as a Office manager is never the same. You are a key member of the team as you will support the GPM as well as the entire project team in running a smooth operation. Having an attractive and well organized working environment is key for the well being of our team and hence project success. You will do whatever it takes to create an excellent office space, and support your colleagues in a variety of tasks.

The main tasks are:

Facilitate and organize business travel for PMO (flights, tickets, arrangements, travel schedule)

Admin of project team

Keeping the back office in good order and attractive for customers, business partners and the project team

Planning, preparation and facilitation of events for guests/customer

Keeping facilities in good order and coordinate with IT/facility management/travel-office of Thales NL

Checking, reviewing and translation of documents (auto translate, spelling check, format etc.)
